Gwen Stefani dolls
I love the line of Gwen Stefani dolls which include her Harajuku girls-so cute! I never liked weird baby dolls when I was little but I think because I wasn’t allowed to have Barbies until I was a bit older I had doll envy, which has carried into my adult life.

How’s everyone?
Well, I thought since we haven’t updated our blog in eons I would start us off again! What’s new with me…well, let’s see, I’m nearing the end of wedding planning, still have the flowers to work on and to get us our marriage licence (might be helpful) and most important to send out our invitations. I got my hair done by Angie at her hair school-she did foils, copper and white blond mixed with my regular colour…it looks nice and fun, so her and I are going to work on figuring out a good ‘do for me for the big day. I made banana cream pie, it’s just setting in the fridge. Teagan and I have been hanging out with the other moms and babies in the neighborhood, and Teagan has begun to crawl!

Lagunarama
If you like Laguna Beach like I do (I think you do too Jess), you can watch both first and second season on www.mtv.ca in their entirety. Sweetness!! I don’t know why I like the show so much, but somehow watching the drama unfold between fancy beach front teenagers seems to make my life seem A-Ok.

The snow
Well, we are in the midst of crap ass snow central here in the Lower Mainland. I wish I could say I love it, but instead I am just dreading then next power outage. We’ve had a ridiculous amount of them lately, some not even due to the bad weather. I would also like to say I’ve been doing lots of crafts and reading to pass the time, but alas I haven’t…it’s hard to do things like that with a tiny baby who wants to play, although it is nice to have her to play with, she doesn’t even seem to mind the dark! Man, it is amazing how reliant I am on electricity, I miss the TV like mad when it’s unavailable, and when the power goes back on I go crazy turning on all the lights and TV and making hot drinks like apple cider with cinnamon sticks.

New Adorn Mag
Hey Ladies, The new issue of Adorn Mag is out. It is very cute! Have a look at their website www.adornmag.com
I didn’t buy it, but I’m sure I will. There are a lot of good book references. Instead, I went to the scrapbooking store (not to scrapbook, but to buy ribbon, rub on letters and paper to start my Christmas cards.) Anybody up for a yarn or stationary swap or music swap within our little CakeWalk community? I was inspired by Lawn’s blog. It may also help us get started on any Christmas crafts. Hope you are both having a relaxing Sunday! Love Jess
